Social EventsA rich cultural and social programme has been prepared for throughout the conference for you. All registered participants are cordially invited. All social events are included in the registration fee. Participants are kindly requested to confirm their presence by filling in the registration form. Participants should also indicate, on the registration form, the number of their accompanying guests. For each of your guests, the price of the Bohemia Sekt centre visit, and Pilsner Urquell brewery visit, including travel costs, is 150 CZK. The guest price for the conference dinner is 600 CZK. You are kindly requested to pay for your accompanying guests upon registration. On-site payments are not accepted. Bohemia Sekt centre visitOn 23 June, 2010 from 19 h we would like to invite you for a welcome drink, including an excursion
to the Bohemia Sekt centre in StarĂ½ Plzenec.
During the excursion, you will get to walk through the production process, from the cellars to the adjustment line.
You will find out how the bottle with its Bohemia Sekt logo came into being, from the still wine of reknowned Moravian
vineyards, to the noble sparkling wine we know as "sekt". Discover the interesting places of the original cellars, hidden
under ground, where the sekt matures. Pilsner Urquell brewery visitOn 24, June 2010 conference participants will have the opportunity to visit
the Pilsner Urquell brewery.
During the guided tour you can get to know the history and about present day Pilsen brewing, and take a look into historic
and modern production processes of the brewery. At the end, you step into the historic cellars, and end the tour with a taste
of the excellent, unfiltered beer. Conference dinnerThe tour of the brewery is also connected with a conference dinner in the restaurant "Na Spilce"
The restaurant was opened in 1992 on the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Pilsen brewery, and can be found in the former fermenting
cellar, also known in Czech as a "spilka", which is in the brewery grounds. A friendly gathering awaits you in stylishly pleasant surroundings
in the largest Czech beerhall, with traditional Czech cuisine, and excellent beers from the selection produced by Pilsner Urquell. DisCo 2010 | All rights reserved
