Author guidelines

Abstracts

Extended abstracts in English of max. 2 pages (references are included in the page limit) are to be sent electronically to the e-mail address beseda@csvs.cz before  18^th April 2010. Please use the conference abstract template disco_abstract.rtf. You will be informed by e-mail about the submission of your abstract by 25^th April 2010.

Final papers

Final papers can be written in Czech, Slovak, or English languages. All manuscripts have to be submitted electronically to the e-mail address beseda@csvs.cz before 16^th May 2010.

Please note that final manuscripts should not exceed 6 pages, and have to conform to the conference template disco_paper.rtf. Final contributions are requested both in *.rtf and *.pdf formats.
Please do not number pages, and give special attention to the naming of your files. The name must be the surname of the first author (e.g. NOVAK.rtf, and NOVAK.pdf).

The best papers will be considered for publication in the journals or .

Instructions for authors of posters

Posters have to be thematically related to the topic of the conference. Please send your poster abstract to beseda@csvs.cz by 16^th May 2010 . The maximum word count for poster abstracts is 1800 words. You will be informed whether your poster has been accepted or not by 30^th May 2010. There are no limits regarding the graphic layout of posters, however the maximum size for them is 594 x 841mm (size A1).

Technical facilities

All rooms are equipped with projectors and laptops. Authors are kindly requested to try their slides in due time before their presentations. Technical assistance will be provided in each session room.  

Interpreters can be provided on request.
